Mythic Quest, an office comedy on Apple TV+, is returning for a third season after being absent for more than a year. The episodes this year, however, follow two distinct companies rather than just one like the prior two seasons. Mythic Quest’s Ian Grimm (Rob McElhenney) and Poppy Li (Charlotte Nicdao) have quit to start their own business, GrimmPop Studios. Ian’s ego, though, appears to be a little out of control, as evidenced by the brand-new season 3 teaser. He once served as the creative director of the most well-known MMORPG in the entire globe, and he now feels that this qualifies him to be considered one of history’s greatest trailblazers.

The second season of the show, which centres on a fictional video game firm, saw the departure of the company’s creator and creative director Ian Grimm (Rob McElhenney) and head engineer Poppy Li (Charlotte Nicdao) in order for them to pursue new opportunities. The trailer begins with Ian being as brazen as ever as the team embarks on their mission to turn their new studio into a money-making behemoth. David Brittlesbee, played by David Hornsby, is shown stepping up to the plate and filling the enormous shoes left by Ian and Poppy as Mythic Quest’s new commander.

Additionally, Brad Bakshi (Danny Pudi), who was recently released from prison after doing time for insider trading, makes a happy return. There will be a plot about the beginnings of Mythic Quest being adapted for the big screen with Joe Manganiello playing Ian, which is something the company’s founder is less than thrilled about. This will add even more laughs. The third season of the comedy will, according to the trailer, bring back all the antics that first won over viewers.

As co-creators of both series, McElhenney and Charlie Day, the production’s tone is flecked with That’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Along with Hornsby and Ganz, Jason Altman, Danielle Kreinik, and Gérard Guillemot from Ubisoft Film and Television, and Michael Rotenberg and Nicholas Frenkel from 3Arts, McElhenney and Day join as executive producers on behalf of their RCG.
