Fans continue to assume that Henry Cavill will play Superman in the next Black Adam movie despite Cavill making no appearances at San Diego Comic-Con. That may have been proven in a recent study identifying Dwayne Johnson as the cause.
Ex-editor-in-chief of Birth, on a current edition of the Marvelvision podcast. Movies. Death. Devin Faraci reported that Cavill will play Superman once more in the movie and that Dwayne Johnson was instrumental in getting Cavill to do so.
“Yeah. It isn’t particularly specific. I guess the reason is that it’s all behind-the-scenes stuff, which I found to be sort of intriguing. Because The Rock ordered it, Henry Cavill is reprising his role as Superman in Black Adam, according to Faraci. ” For example, he applied full-court pressure to Warner Bros. and forced them to meet with Henry Cavill, forcing them to sign a new contract with Cavill, including a statement that they would be developing a new Superman movie… All because The Rock demanded.
In addition to the comment on the show, prominent Twitter user and insider “ViewerAnon” appeared to hint at some major news about Cavill by informing fans that they will be pleased with DC’s next feature lineup if they are Cavill fans. Like Faraci, the Twitter user said that Dwayne Johnson had a significant role in this by being “insistent” that solutions be found.
“Black Adam is liberated from his earthly burial, ready to unleash his particular brand of justice on the modern world, some 5,000 years after he was awarded the immense powers of the ancient gods – and imprisoned just as quickly,” according to the description.
Pierce Brosnan portrays Doctor Fate, Noah Centineo portrays Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell portrays Cyclone, and Aldis Hodge portrays Hawkman. They are all seen with Johnson. Other cast members with unexplained roles include Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, James Cusati-Moyer, Bodhi Sabongui, Mo Amer, and Uli Latukefu.
