The songstress just shared a cryptic post on social media, a video showcasing a mortal heart being crushed, which came as an indication of her pain. The video was also attended by a brief caption, wherein Shakira said being hurt, adding that she knew this would happen. Fans have been considering whether her post is regarding an approaching song or album or just the grief over her separation. Shakira once shared a position with a passage that read, It was the fault of monotony.
Shakira and Gerard Piqué’s split
The former partners who proved their romance back in 2011 recently reported their split after over ten years of togetherness. The pair are also parents to sons Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7. The vocalist and the footballer cast a joint announcement in June this year as they proved their separation. Following her separation, Shakira also flared up about the difficult time she has been going through in a discussion with Elle where she called it the dimmest hour of her life. The singer talked about protecting their children from all the media range around her and Gerard’s breakup amid their general breakup.
In the meantime, the Hips Don’t Lie musician is also encountering lawful issues since she has been charged with tax evasion in Spain. Prosecutors have accused the musician of six counts of tax scam for forgetting to pay 14.5 million euros. It was later exposed that Shakira will stand an attempt over apparent tax fraud as requested by a Barcelona judge. The singer has rejected the allegations against her and preserved that she doesn’t owe anything to the Spanish Tax Agency. Shakira could d encounter up to eight years in jail in the case.
