Deadpool 3 will see Wade join the bigger MCU after the old X-Men franchise ended after Disney purchased 20th Century Fox. Reynolds uploaded a video marketing the film as a surprise revelation. Reynolds and Jackman jointly announced that Wolverine would make an appearance in the upcoming Deadpool sequel, something fans have been hoping to see happen for years.
Despite Wolverine’s demise at the conclusion of Logan, Jackman will reprise his role as the well-known X-Men hero in Deadpool 3. It’s unclear if this Wolverine is the same one that Jackman previously portrayed because he might be portraying a different version of the character. Although Deadpool 3 was originally revealed a few years prior, storyline specifics were kept a secret until the actors made this significant public disclosure. It Is Unknown If Hugh Jackman Will Return As Wolverine In Deadpool 3
Although the pairing of Deadpool and Wolverine has been hotly anticipated, especially in the wake of the disappointing X-Men Origins: Wolverine, it’s not yet obvious how far the filmmakers will take the two mutants. Reynolds will most certainly remain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the foreseeable future, while Jackman’s Wolverine may not. The Australian actor portrayed Logan for 17 years until concluding his tenure in 2017. He then signed on for Deadpool 3 after that. Given that Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars will conclude the Multiverse Saga, it wouldn’t be surprising if Jackman at least made an appearance as Wolverine in one of those movies after Deadpool 3.
The MCU has previously made hints that Wolverine lives in Earth-616, and possibly Jackman will portray that version of the character in Deadpool 3, indicating that he will continue to appear in the series for a few more films. Anything is conceivable because the actor hasn’t explicitly said that Deadpool 3 will be his final film. Since mutants are also presently being brought to the MCU, it would be one thing if Jackman were requested to direct his own trilogy once more as opposed to merely appearing in future X-Men movies.
