Netflix to Drop From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series in November 2022

In the absence of a new agreement, the Netflix series adaption of the Quentin Tarantino classic From Dusk Till Dawn will end in November 2022. In most countries outside of the United States, the series is a Netflix Original, and the only place to stream it is on Netflix (some broadcast deals were struck elsewhere). The show was first added on Netflix in August 2014, and subsequent seasons were added quickly after they aired. From Dusk Till Dawn’s last season premiered in the summer of 2016 for viewers outside of the US and in December 2016 for US viewers. On November 2nd, 2022, all areas of Netflix, including the United States, will stop carrying From Dusk Till Dawn. The Netflix page is currently displaying a message that reads, “Last day to watch on Netflix: 1 November.”

Why is Netflix dropping From Dusk Till Dawn?

Given that the show was created by numerous production firms and distributors, the story surrounding From Dusk Till Dawn even being on Netflix is somewhat convoluted. even had its broadcast debut on the now-defunct El Rey Network. FactoryMade Ventures, Miramax, and Rodriguez International Pictures are the other production companies engaged. We know that Entertainment One owns the rights to broadcast the programme, so if Netflix wants to continue airing From Dusk Till Dawn, it will have to consent to a renewal—something the streamer hasn’t done with exits. Variety VIP claims that Netflix decided not to extend its deal with Hemlock Grove (leaving in October 2022).
