Is there a chance that we’ll find out when The Wheel of Time season 2 will premiere during the month of October? We are well aware that a lot of us have been waiting for this show for a very long time; so, why not go ahead and offer some results?
We do need to share some bad news, though, and this is where we have to do so: We don’t have much hope that there will be more on the show shortly at this time. Even while it would be good to have a date announcement or even a rough timetable, we aren’t seeing a lot of signs that it will happen soon.
Season 2’s debut is most likely to occur in early 2023. The last significant news on the program was back at San Diego Comic-Con. Only because Amazon Prime frequently releases some of its announcements early should we expect a formal announcement this month. They did it with The Boys season 3 and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, without a doubt. They regard many of their properties as big-budget movies, which naturally tend to receive some of these announcements a little bit early, which is why they occasionally do this.
The average wait time for new seasons on Prime Video is 14 to 18 months. The Man in the High Castle Season 3 and the epidemic are outliers to the trend, but many shows are gradually returning to some kind of normalcy. This season’s earliest appearance is probably in January 2023. This would make it possible for Carnival Row Season 2 to finally air without worrying about competing for fantasy programs taking the spotlight. Yes, it is still something we are awaiting.
In the end, there is at least one strong argument in favor of announcing season 2 this month and utilizing The Rings of Power to advertise it. Why wouldn’t you want to attract some of your existing dream viewers? Even if not all of them, the two shows may have at least some viewers in common.
