‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ Trailer Sees Namor’s Threat

Black Panther Wakanda Forever

One of the most eagerly awaited future MCU movies is Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The first film in the series, Black Panther, made its premiere in 2018 and went on to gross an astounding $1.3 billion at the box office, earning it the title of mega-blockbuster. Its sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, has generated great enthusiasm among fans and reviewers alike.

In the most recent trailer, we get a better look at Tenoch Huerta’s Namor, who appears to be one of the main points of friction in Marvel’s return to Wakanda. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is not just the follow-up to one of the MCU’s biggest successes, but it also has an outstanding ensemble working in its favor. The following actors are returning from past MCU films: Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong’o, Letitia Wright, Florence Kasumba, Angela Bassett, and Winston Duke Martin Freeman. Ryan Coogler will also helm the follow-up. Daniel Kaluuya, who portrayed W’Kabi, won’t be appearing in the follow-up, though. Given Kaluuya’s significant contribution to the first film and the fact that his persona also happened to be married to Gurira’s Okoye, it will be intriguing to watch how his absence is handled in the sequel.

Chadwick Boseman, who tragically went suddenly in August 2020, played the role of Black Panther’s leader in the cast in 2018. In Marvel’s animated series What If…?, he also played T’Challa once more, this time donning the Star-Lord headgear. Plans for the follow-up were altered after Boseman’s tragic death when Marvel Studios said that the part of Black Panther/King T’Challa will not be recreated in order to better commemorate the actor’s memory. As a result, the narrative of the sequel will instead center on other characters who have been added to the franchise. The teaser, however, took sure to pay tribute to the late actor and his role while also teasing the identity of the upcoming Black Panther.

Riri Williams/introduction Ironheart to the MCU falls under the additional responsibilities of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Williams, who will be portrayed by Dominique Thorne, is a genius inventor known for creating an iron suit that is comparable to Iron Man’s. How she fits into the broader story of the movie will be interesting to watch. Additionally, Michaela Coel, whose career is undeniably on the rise, has also been hired for the film in an unspecified role.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is a Marvel production, thus nothing is known about it other than the idea that it will continue to explore the gorgeous and enigmatic culture and people who were introduced in the first Black Panther movie. We now have, thankfully, a sneak peeks at what to anticipate from the next movie thanks to this new teaser.
