Cobra Kai star Jacob Bertrand has shared his expectations for season six of the Netflix series. Bertrand expressed his desire to see a world tournament in a future season to PopCulture, saying that it would bring a plethora of fresh personalities and settings to the programme.

Even though Cobra Kai season 5 concluded several significant plotlines, it nevertheless left us with a brand-new cliffhanger. The fifth season of Cobra Kai has been a wild trip. Every season has successfully negotiated a nearly 40-year-old grudge, an adolescent soap opera, bullying, and romance while serving up plenty of combat scenes. Cobra Kai has produced a lot of unexpected turns and insane cliffhangers throughout the series.

Bertrand said, “I would love if Cobra Kai got renewed.” “That’d be fun. I really want to go to the world tournament. I think the world tournament would be super interesting because right now, it’s just confined to The Valley of Karate, you know?, he said. He further continued saying, “But I think it’d be really cool to introduce some crazy new players from all around the world. Yeah, and I’m sure Hawk can win at least a couple of fights.”

Bertrand isn’t the first of the Cobra Kai actors to hint at more adventures for the characters, even if Cobra Kai season six hasn’t been formally confirmed by the streaming behemoth. Actor Gianni Decenzo, who plays Demetri, expressed his aspirations for a potential new season exclusively to Digital Spy. “I’m interested to see what they do in season 6, he expressed. When one exists. I’m not sure, and I can’t vouch for anything!”

Season 5 continued to move at a dramatic rate. The season ending for this season was strangely similar to the season finale for last season in that the police arrest the evil sensei instead of John Kreese this time around. Longtime rivals Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso were able to put an end to their bitter conflict this season by working together to defeat the villain Terry Silver. The two ultimately putting their rivalry aside would undoubtedly create a new dynamic for the remainder of the series.
