In All Of Us Are Dead What Actually Happened To Eun-ji?

What happened to Eun-ji (Oh Hye-soo) after she was last seen in All Of Us Are Dead is unclear. The main characters of Netflix’s popular Korean drama, which centers on a group of kids from Hyosan High School after a lethal, rage-inducing virus breaks out, are a coming-of-age story and a zombie horror show in equal measure. The B-plot with brutally mistreated adolescent Min Eun-ji best demonstrates the show’s themes of survival and the human spirit’s persistence in the face of societal ills. Eun-ji gradually becomes more violent and spiteful due to the terrible harassment she endures from her peers, who also make her jaded and despondent.

She is struck by a bus and transferred to a rescue camp after evading Hyosan High. She discovers Kim Chul-soo (Ahn Ji-ho), a fellow victim of bullying, and feeds him there. Guards apprehend her and take her into a secure lab for further investigation. They use her to learn more about other virus types and the characteristics of the infected’s behavior. While restrained on a bed, she and a zombied soldier undergo perplexing, torturous tests. Soon after the experimenters have confirmed that the infected respond to frequencies of 24 hz, Eun-bed ji’s is vacant and being cleaned by lab staff.

Even if the experimenters didn’t need a vacancy, the show never explains why Eun-ji departs. Even more puzzling is the fact that, as shown at the conclusion of All Of Us Are Dead, Lee Byeong-(Kim chan’s Byung-chul) zombified family members are brought in for testing after Eun-bed ji’s is abandoned. What transpired to Eun-ji may have happened in a number of ways. She could have first perished at the hands of the experimenters. Second, she may have been moved to another place for more testing. Finally, she might have been moved to a separate quarantine facility apart from the uninfected if she had been kept alive but not hidden for testing.

In All Of Us Are Dead What Actually Happened To Eun-ji? 2

Every option’s believability may be determined by considering its potential motivations. The experimenters would have to decide if killing Eun-ji off was preferable to keeping her alive. This notion is not only distressing, but it also becomes less plausible given how much more there is still to learn about the virus from the experimenters. Her desire for human flesh, however, puts experimenters in danger. Despite being confined, she still has the potential to infect lab staff or escape. It would be intriguing to discover where the lab technicians transferred Eun-ji and why if she does decide to return for All Of Us Are Dead season 2. She could have been sent to a facility with more modern amenities, like the KDCA.

It’s feasible that Eun-ji will return given that All Of Us Are Dead employs fake-out deaths and never explicitly states that she passes away. Even if she was actually slain, season 2 will probably at least provide an explanation for what happened to her. For a second season, the show’s writers consciously left room for a variety of possibilities and open-ended themes, and Eun-absence ji’s appears to have been left intentionally vague. It is still unknown where she went, what happened to her, and why none of these questions are addressed in the episode.
