fate the winx saga season 2 what we know so far

To say that a lot happens in Season Two of “Fate: The Winx Saga” would be an understatement. The second season’s seven action-packed episodes of the supernatural thriller follow the Alfea kids as they deal with a new threat—blood witches—and the inexplicable disappearance of numerous fairies.

A new antagonist named Sebastian (Éanna Hardwicke) causes a lot of destruction throughout the season in his mission to steal the magic of fairies. He even entices a few characters to break their friendships by offering them something they sorely want: knowledge of their ancestry.

At the start of the episode, Bloom experiences a premonition out of the blue but dismisses it as being tired. She then confides in Aisha (Precious Mustapha) and claims to have seen Sebastian and a dark circle in a vision; she believes this vision has anything to do with her magic.

Sebastian is still committed to robbing Bloom of the dragon flame.
Sebastian has so far been unsuccessful in persuading Bloom to give him her most potent ability—the dragon flame. Beatrix explains to Stella in the conclusion why he is so keen to acquire power.

Fate: Season 2 of The Winx Saga Questioning all the cliffhangers 2

Sebastian, it turns out, intends to use the dragon flame to make up for what happened at Aster Dell (a village that was inhabited by blood witches and destroyed by fairies). He intends to travel to the underworld and revive the blood witches but to achieve that, he needs Bloom’s strength.

Sebastian kidnaps Bloom’s boyfriend Sky in an effort to get her to come to him (Danny Griffin). Bloom goes to Sebastian in an effort to save him. Several of her friends decide to follow Bloom and aid her now that they are aware of Sebastian’s plans to utilise the dragon flame to wreak havoc. Aisha encounters Grey (Brandon Grace), her love interest who had been covertly working with Sebastian when she is travelling. Grey explains to Aisha why he claimed to be a blood witch during the encounter and shares the death of his brother in Aster Dell.

Sebastian explains to Bloom that her mother utilised the dragon flame before her and lost control, killing a large number of people. Bloom’s mother, who was also guilty, kept her in stasis for a thousand years so that Bloom wouldn’t suffer the same fate. In order to shield the world from her might, her mother too hid away in the land of darkness.

Bloom agrees to give up the dragon flame and begins giving Sebastian her powers out of fear of what he will do to Sky. However, Beatrix appears out of nowhere and requests to be informed of Sebastian’s true intentions for the flame.
