The Deadpool 3 release date has been confirmed, and Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as Wolverine

Deadpool 3

Hugh Jackman, an Australian actor, is set to make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Deadpool 3. In a video uploaded on Twitter, Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds confirmed that his on-screen pal would be reprising his role as Wolverine.
Hugh Jackman put his Wolverine claws down with 2017’s Logan, but it looks the actor is bringing the character back to help Deadpool’s MCU debut. Reynolds revealed Jackman’s Wolverine will appear in Deadpool 3, as well as disclosing the film’s official release date, on Tuesday. Deadpool 3, which will exist in some manner within the MCU, will be released in theatres on September 6, 2024. Both announcements were made in a video, which you may view below.

He continues, “Scenes show Reynolds working out, using the restroom, and pouring his own Aviation American Gin (Reynolds owns a financial stake in the company) into a coffee mug, so Deadpool’s first entrance in the MCU has to be unique.”
Shawn Levy, the director of Free Guy and The Adam Project, will helm Deadpool 3. Wendy Molyneaux and Lizzie Molyneaux-Loeglin, writers of Bob’s Burgers, as well as Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who wrote Deadpool and Deadpool 2, are allegedly returning to work on the script.

Jackman agrees, and enormous words indicate the film is “COMING HUGHN,” with the release date of Sept. 6, 2024, appearing at the conclusion. Reynolds’ first two Deadpool films were set in the same non-MCU universe as Fox’s X-Men flicks. Disney acquired Fox in 2019, and the creators of Deadpool 3 promised to keep the hero’s nasty mouth intact despite his inclusion in the family-friendly MCU.
And, as for Jackman, he was supposed to have resigned from the renowned Wolverine role with the 2017 film Logan, which seemed to kill off the character. Following the premiere of the film, Jackman issued a quick video thanking his fans for their years of support. It appears that the goodbye was not final.

Now, with both Jackman and Leslie Uggams joining Reynolds, fans will have to wait a few more years for additional significant advancements from this massive new franchise. Hopefully, the next announcements will elicit the same level of excitement as this one, as the world is about to see the return of one of the most iconic comic book movie depictions in history for one more round of action.
