Extraction 2’s first trailer shows Chris Hemsworth performing some deadly action

Extraction 2 will see Chris Hemsworth reprise his role as Tyler Rake, and at Netflix’s Tudum 2022, a first peek at the upcoming sequel was unveiled, offering an inside look at the action. Hemsworth could be seen hinting in the new teaser that the sequel will have more intense action scenes than the first.

A helicopter landing on top of a rushing train and an even longer oner a scene that appears to be shot in one take as directed by Sam Hargrave in the new ad are among the new stunts and action teased. In the first look teaser, the director is heard saying, “With a title of ‘2’ behind your name, you need to bring twice the action.” Hemsworth also talks about the sequel adding, “Everything that got you here doesn’t mean a thing unless you can do it bigger and better than ever before.”

The official synopsis of Extraction 2 is as follows: “In 2020, the world met a new hero: Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth), a fearless black market mercenary who embarks on the deadliest mission of his career. But what seems lost …can still be extracted. After barely surviving the events of the first movie, Rake is back as the Australian black ops mercenary, tasked with another deadly mission: rescuing the battered family of a ruthless Georgian gangster from the prison where they are being held.”

Hemsworth has already been posting behind-the-scenes photos from the sequel’s filming on his Instagram. This action-packed, breath-taking franchise, which is directed by Sam Hargrave, is made by Joe and Anthony Russo, the brilliant minds behind Avengers: Endgame. Extraction 2 has not yet received a formal release date. The movie is scheduled to be out in 2023.
