The Enola Holmes 2 trailer, featuring Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill, was released by Netflix on Saturday during its international fan event Tudum. The Enola Holmes movies, which Harry Bradbeer directs and Jack Thorne writes the screenplays for, are based on Nancy Springer’s novels. Enola Holmes 2 will make its Netflix debut on November 4 this year. Netflix and Legendary collaborate to develop the movie. Through their production company PCMA Productions, Brown and her sister Paige Brown produces the film.

The first movie followed Enola as she searched for her mother Eudoria Holmes, who was portrayed by Helena Bonham Carter, and presented many challenges for the budding detective to overcome. According to Netflix, the mystery in the follow-up is one of “historic proportions” and requires two Holmes to handle, suggesting that Cavill’s Sherlock will have a bigger part.

After the events of Enola Holmes from 2020, we see Enola attempting to carve out a place for herself by opening a detective business. She obviously wants out of being Sherlock Holmes’ (Cavill) sister and wants to shine on her own. While Sherlock is preoccupied with a challenging case on his own, Enola soon receives a case involving a missing individual. But as the teaser reveals, there is a connection between the two cases, and the Holmes siblings must work together to uncover the mystery.

Susie Wokoma, Louis Partridge, and Helena Bonham Carter all make appearances in the upcoming second instalment as Edith, Tewksbury, and Eudoria, the mother of Sherlock and Enola. David Thewlis, Susan Wokoma, Adeel Akhtar, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Hannah Dodd, Abbie Hern, Gabriel Tierney, and Serrana Su-Ling Bliss are among the new actors in the movie.
