The first trailer and the release date for Season 4 of You, the popular series starring Penn Badgley as serial killer Joe Goldberg, were revealed by Netflix as part of TUDUM event. The new video reveals more information about Joe’s bloody story’s upcoming chapter as well as a sneak glimpse at the characters that will be joining the show for Season 4.

The trailer implied that Joe had improved since our last encounter with him. After murdering his wife Love at the end of the previous season, he fled to London and changed his name to Professor Jonathan Moore. While making fun of all the new characters, he argues that he has abandoned his previous way of life, yet he can’t help but think of Marienne. The video suggests that Joe teaches at the same university that Marienne is attending because Marienne has recently grown out her white long braids.

Marianne (Tati Gabrielle), who is back after escaping with her kid at the end of Season 3, is one of Joe’s possible victims. Nadia (Amy-Leigh Hickman) and Kate (Charlotte Ritchie), two further newbies revealed in the trailer, may pique Joe’s interest. Additionally, the teaser introduces Ed Speleers as Joe’s new coworker Rhys. In Joe’s social circle, there are also new acquaintances people he appears to dislike but yet maintains close by for show.

It will be fascinating to observe how long Joe’s new social standing and way of life continue now that he is a professor. especially as Marienne appears to be nearby. With Joe, we’ve travelled this path before. A few episodes later, after picking up a new passion, he invariably claims to have turned a new leaf. The two will eventually run across each other again.

There will be two parts of You Season 4. Before Part 2 wraps up the season a month later on March 10, Part 1 will debut on February 10, 2023. The next season will also include appearances from Amy-Leigh Hickman, Charlotte Ritchie, Ed Speleers, Tilly Keepers, Lukas Gage, Niccy Lin, Aidan Cheng, Eve Austin, Ozioma Whenu, and Dario Coates in addition to Gabrielle Union and Penn Badgley.
