The lead singer of Maroon 5 Adam Levine has been accused of having an extramarital affair with his wife Behati Prinsloo by an Instagram model who also exposed DMs that the musician allegedly sent to the model. On Monday, September 19, 23-year-old model Sumner Stroh made the accusations in a TikTok video. In the video, Stroh claimed that she had dated Levine for about a year.
This news follows Levine and Prinsloo’s announcement that they are expecting their third child last week. The couple has two daughters and has been married since 2014. Stroh said in the video that she dated the artist for a year, although she did not give an exact date. A snapshot of chat messages that Adam Levine allegedly sent her on Instagram after she stopped talking to him over a period of months was also posted by the woman.
The model also posted screenshots of messages from Levine, some of which appeared to be text. “It’s truly unreal how f***ing hot you are. Like it blows my mind.” Other message which was sent by the model reads, “OK serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s a boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You okay with that? DEAD serious,” followed by a single shrugging emoji.
According to the Instagram model, she emailed the alleged interactions to pals she believed to be trustworthy, but they later tried to get the press to publish the story and claimed that it was what spurred her to come forward with her charges. While Summer did not specify the duration of their alleged relationship, she stated “I was having an affair with a man who’s married to a Victoria’s Secret model. At the time, I was young, I was naive, and, I mean, quite frankly, I feel exploited.”
Stroh said that she never planned to handle the incident in such a prominent manner, but she acknowledged that she decided to come out when a friend with whom she had shared the screenshots attempted to sell the story to a tabloid. She said, “I know the implications that come with doing what I do, making money the way I do, and being an Instagram model. So being tied to a story like this, I know its stereotypes.”
