Post Malone apparently hit his chest while falling against a stage hole while performing at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, as reported by E! News. After that, the concert had to be stopped for a while so that doctors could examine the 27-year-old. He then came back, holding his side while grimacing, and apologised to the crowd. Five more songs were then performed by the rapper.

A day later, Malone posted a selfie video on Twitter discussing the incident. He stated, “Whenever we do the acoustic part of the show, the guitars on the guitar stand…it goes down, and there’s this big-a– hole, so I go around there and I turn the corner and bust my a–.” He added, “Winded me pretty good. Got me pretty good. We just got back from the hospital and everything’s good. Everything’s good. They gave me some pain meds and everything and we can keep kicking a– on the tour.”

As of right now, Malone will still play a concert on Sunday night at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. During the incident, Malone was sporting a St. Louis Blues shirt, which the team tweeted about on Sunday. Post Malone posted a video update after the accident. The rapper expressed regret and pledged to perform a two-hour gig in St. Louis when he returned.

In the meantime, a concertgoer who spoke to CNN said that the disaster occurred approximately an hour into his performance. To the delight of everyone present, the singer came back and concluded the concert. Before concluding the performance, he apologised profusely, according to the concertgoer.
