As she was forced to cut short the final performance of her world tour in Miami due to the weather, Lady Gaga shared an emotional apology for her fans on Instagram. The singer was unable to finish the tour’s final night in Miami on Saturday due to a hurricane, so the performance had to be stopped short for everyone’s safety.

As she addressed to her fans about the final night of her global tour on Instagram, Lady Gaga broke down in tears and stated, “Hi everybody, thank you so much for coming to the Chromatica Ball. We really tried to finish the show tonight in Miami but we couldn’t because even when the rain sort of stopped there was lightning that was striking right down to the ground so close to us.”

She went on to say, “And look I know that for a really long time, I’ve always wanted to be like that hard core, bad bitch, but what I really want is to also be responsible and loving and I don’t know what I would do if anything happened to anybody in the audience or to any member of my crew, my band, my dancers.”

The singer went on to say that she was now in a healthy place and that she had decided to end the performance because it was the right thing to do for her and everyone else given the difficulties she had to overcome to perform again. In her closing statement, she said that the theme of Chromatica had been “healing and feeling enough,” and that’s how she felt following her final performance. Gaga stated in a different Instagram post, “This was the greatest tour of my life and I will cherish this moment forever-it took a long time for me to heal, but I did.”
