He, Slick Charles, and Yo-Yo start investigating the incident, and their investigation takes them to a massive subterranean complex where a government-backed lab is conducting experiments on the local Black population. Fontaine first despairs after realising he is an artificial clone controlled by Nixon, but realises he must fight up to these white institutional masters for the sake of his neighbourhood.”

DailyMail managed to get some early images of the film with their paps in mid-January 2021, displaying the outfits and makeup the actors will be wearing.
They Cloned Tyrone’s release date was initially listed in Netflix’s 2022 movie preview at the beginning of the year. Netflix officially revealed its Fall 2022 roster in August 2022, which notably did not include They Cloned Tyrone. We were told that the film had been postponed until 2022. (likely then set to release in 2023 instead). They Cloned Tyrone, on the other hand, will supposedly be released on Netflix on December 30th, 2022. This is according to a New York Times preview of Fall 2022.
