‘Peacemaker’ star “Robert Patrick” joins the cast of the Yellowstone prequel series 1923. He has been added to the cast as a series regular alongside already casted actors, Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren. The prequel series is scheduled to release this December. Patrick is set to play he a close ally of the Duttons clan in the Prohibition Era series. The film 1923 will focus on a crucial period in the history of the Dutton family that lies between the formative years of 1883 and the contemporary, Kevin Costner-led modern age in Yellowstone.

The Duttons struggle to survive as their basic existence in Montana is challenged by the end of Prohibition, pandemics, a severe drought, and the impending Great Depression. The patriarch Jacob (Ford) and his wife Cara (Mirren), who own the Yellowstone ranch at the time, will be at the core of the story. Patrick has joined as Sheriff William McDowell, a close friend of the Dutton family who is likely to assist them in fighting off the scourge of cattle rustlers and outlaws plaguing Montana.

In addition to Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, Julia Schlaepfer, and, most recently, Brandon Sklenar, Patrick brings additional talent to the cast, which is already strong. Sheridan conceived the show, and he was joined as executive producer by John Linson, Art Linson, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, and Ben Richardson.

Patrick had plenty of significant roles, but he is most famous for playing the terrifying T-1000 in Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Another reason Patrick is well-known is because of his roles in movies including Wayne’s World, What Josiah Saw, The Protégé, The Faculty, and the John Cena-starring The Marine. His recent roles in Goliath, Perry Mason: Reborn, and Auggie Smith in Peacemaker have helped him re-enter the public eye. His upcoming film, Dark Asset, which also stars Byron Mann, will include him.
