Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s tempestuous trial that went on for six weeks will be adjusted into a TV as noted by Variety. The new film has been titled Hot Take: The Depp/Heard Trial and will debut solely on the Tubi streaming service. The movie stars Mark Hapka as Johnny Depp alongside Megan Davis as the actor’s ex-wife, Amber Heard.

The movie will reportedly premiere on September 30 and also stars Melissa Marty of Station 19 as Depp’s attorney Camille Vasquez and Mary Carrig of Law & Order True Crime in the position of Heard’s counsel, Elaine Bredehoft. The movie will pursue the tumultuous connection in and out of the court of Depp and Heard as it will dramatize the two-month libel trial that was completed on June 1. The trial judgment caught the jury’s determination that Heard was responsible for slander in her December 2018 op-ed piece. The jury also carried Depp responsible for a defamatory comment made about Heard by his lawyer.

Following the conclusion of the difficulty, Johnny Depp has been occupied getting back to his Hollywood employment which arrived to a halt after domestic brutality allegations were made against him by his ex-wife. The performer who has already emitted a music album with Jeff Beck is also set to produce a film after nearly 25 years which will be produced by Al Pacino. As for Amber Heard, following Depp’s trial win, the actress unleashed a statement that stated, I’m heartbroken that the peak of evidence still was not sufficiently to stand up to the disproportionate power, sway, and sway of my ex-husband.
