During the official period of mourning for Queen Elizabeth, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has delayed new episodes of her Spotify podcast, according to a notice posted on the platform on Monday. Her husband Prince Harry had earlier in the day given a very personal homage to the late queen, expressing his love for the time he had shared with his grandmother and promised to uphold his father King Charles as the new ruler.

After resigning from their royal duties in 2020, Harry and Meghan have grown distant from the family and have been quite critical of Buckingham Palace and the way they were treated. The possibility of a reconciliation between the brothers was raised, though, when the couple unannouncedly showed out on Saturday for a stroll near Windsor Castle along with the heir to the throne and his wife Kate.

According to its Spotify description, Meghan’s podcast, titled “Archetypes,” examines the “labels that aim to hold women back” and has so far had guests like tennis player Serena Williams and American singer Mariah Carey. As the royal family went in the Queen’s procession through the streets of Buckingham Palace, Harry stunned many royalists by walking with his brother Prince William.

Meghan Markle, who did not accompany him on foot but followed the procession closely in a car, did. Later, the couple could be seen leaving Westminster Hall hand in hand. Many online users ridiculed the couple for holding hands since they thought it was “rude” of them to do so during the ceremony. The brothers appeared together at Windsor Castle for the first time in years, and many fans were thrilled to see them reunited and stood together at the procession. Days after the late Queen’s passing, Prince Harry and Prince William met the grieving royal well-wishers outside her home with the help of their wives. For those who are unaware, the Queen passed away on September 8 at her Balmoral home under the care of her doctors.
