The final season of the Netflix anime Beastars will be available in 2024

‘Beastars Season 3

As we recently learned, the third and final season of Beastars will be available on Netflix in 2024. Fans have been patiently waiting for a brand new season of Beastars since July 2022. Based on the manga of the same name by author Paru Itagaki, Beastars is a Netflix Original Japanese anime series that has received worldwide licencing. Beastars is not only one of the most well-liked animes in recent memory, but also one of the most divisive. Fans of the show are fiercely devoted and eagerly awaiting its return.

Although the announcement took longer than anticipated, we can now formally announce that Studio Orange has picked up Beastars for a third season! Sadly, Studio Orange also revealed that Beastars’ third season will be the last of the show.

What can we expect from Beastars’ third season?

As the final season of Beastars, the anime will cover the remaining source material, which includes the following arcs;
Chapters 100-123: Interspecies Relations
Chapters 124-196 of Revenge of the Love Failure
Beastars’ third season will focus on the Interspecies Relations Arc, which takes place after Legoshi’s fight with Riz and spans chapters 100 to 123 of the manga.
The anime episode 24 skipped some of the manga between Riz’s defeat and Legoshi’s conversation with Haru. So, while the third season may begin with the aftermath of Legoshi’s fights, those moments may be delivered through flashbacks instead.

When Legoshi decides to drop out of school and live independently, he will have to learn the hard way what it means to be a carnivore in society. Louis’s father will plan out his future for him, including which university he will attend, as he recovers from losing his foot. This means Louis won’t be taking over as leader of The Shishigumi again.
Haru, meanwhile, will continue to struggle with navigating her friendship/relationship with Legoshi. She continues to be hesitant to take the next step with the rabbit out of fear that his rapacious nature will cause him to kill her.

The sublime Beastar Yahya will also be keeping an eye on Legoshi after learning about the circumstances surrounding the fight between the grey wolf and Riz. After the Interspecies-Relations arc, the anime will move into the Revenge of the Love Failure arc, where Legoshi will face off against the hybrid crime-lord Melon after Yahya enlists Legoshi’s assistance to capture him.

Season 3 will cover how many manga chapters and episodes?

So far, the anime series has covered approximately 100 of the manga’s total 196 chapters. There are still 96 chapters to go.
The Interspecies Relations Arc spans manga chapters 100 to 123, so we can expect season 3 to cover the entire arc in the first half. The remaining episodes should cover Beastars’ “Revenge of the Love Failure” arc.
Beastars’ previous two seasons each had twelve episodes. However, because the anime must cover the remaining source material, we anticipate 24 episodes.

We also anticipate that the third season will be divided into two parts, with part one consisting of 12 episodes and covering the events of the Interspecies Relations Arc. Part 2 is expected to arrive later, with an additional 12 episodes covering the story’s final arc, Revenge of the Love Failure.
