 Squid Game actor Lee Jung-jae has been cast as the male lead for the  Star Wars spin-off series ‘Acolyte’. It is made 

 The Lucasfilm project is the brainchild of Leslie Headland,  co-creator of Netflix’s hit show, Russian Doll. According to Variety, he will star in the series alongside Amandla Steinberg and Queen & Slim star Jodie Turner-Smith.Leslie will serve as the series’ director, writer, executive producer and showrunner. The show is a mystery thriller that takes viewers into a galaxy of dark secrets and rising dark forces in the final days of the High Republic era. In the Star Wars universe, an acolyte can refer to an individual with Force abilities who is learning from a more experienced Sith Lord.
