Last Seen Alive, a new Gerard Butler action film, will soon be available on Netflix in the United States. On October 1st, 2022, the film will make its SVOD debut on Netflix exclusively.
Gerard Butler plays Will Spann in the film directed by Brian Goodman, which had a limited theatrical release earlier in 2022. According to Voltage Pictures, the following is what you can expect from the film when it arrives on Netflix US on October 1st:

“Will Spann is driving his soon-to-be ex-wife Lisa to her parents’ house when she mysteriously vanishes during a gas station stop.” Will engages the local Sheriff in an increasingly desperate search for her. As time passes, suspicion falls on Will, who is forced to take matters into his own hands, plunging into the town’s criminal underbelly while fleeing the authorities in a race against time to save his wife.”

The film also stars Jaimie Alexander (Thor), Russell Hornsby (The Hate U Give), Ethan Embry (Sweet Home Alabama), Michael Irby (Mayans M.C.), and Bruce Altman, in addition to Butler (Running Sacred). As of the time of writing, its RottenTomatoes rating was 13%, based on only a few reviews. The Radio Times concluded that it was a “generic thriller,” and the film has a 5.6/10 on IMDb.
Several Voltage Pictures films are available on Netflix, and more are on the way. After Ever Happy, the distributor’s next notable release in the United States, will arrive following its theatrical release.

Other previous releases include Jessica Chastain’s Ava, American Bogeywoman, The Professor and the Madman, and Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile. The film will be released on October 1st, alongside a number of other licenced titles such as Call Me By Your Name, Rush Hour, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and Land of the Lost.
