The actress expresses her excitement for the upcoming season, emphasising the “high sense of drama.” She said, “I think this season has started out well and we’re getting into a few episodes soon that are pretty heavy. They’re really intense and I think that they’re some of the best episodes we’ve ever done. I never say that either! I think that there’s a high sense of drama that starts to come up this season that it’s going to leave people on the edge of their seats. At least, I hope. I’m excited to get into that.”
Whether it’s the death of a beloved character or impactful and personal storylines, Virgin River has always had its share of emotionally charged episodes. However, Breckenridge’s hint that season 5 will feature “some of the best episodes [they’ve] ever done” suggests that we’ll be delving even deeper into the characters we’ve grown to love. In season 4, Mel and Jack struggled with Mel’s baby’s paternity. They later learn that Jack, not her late husband Mark, is the father.
