Another scene from the movie’s Venice Film Festival debut has since gone viral, amid rumours that director Olivia Wilde and star Florence Pugh are at odds. Fans are perplexed after seeing a video of Harry with Chris Pine.
During the Don’t Worry Darling premiere, Harry Styles may be seen in a video that has gone viral on Twitter reportedly spitting on Chris Pine. The group appears to have taken their seats for the premiere of the 2022 Venice Film Festival on September 5 when the footage appears to have been taken. It shows Pine, who is already sat next to Olivia, watching as Harry walks up to take the seat next to him.
In the video, Pine pauses mid-clap and looks incredulously into his lap before grinning and laughing to himself. Styles, on the other hand, looks ahead with the calm who, me? expression we’ve all given our mothers after acting impolitely. The mind-boggling thing is that, when you watch the video, your eyes don’t lie. It seems utterly improbable that one of our biggest pop stars would spit on Hollywood’s Best Chris in front of the entire world press.
On social media, the video has gained a lot of attention as viewers speculate about what truly happened. Styles gestured to other members behind Pine while avoiding making eye contact with him. On Twitter, someone penned, “I can’t watch. Please help.” Another user claimed they were unable to rest until the truth was revealed. While some fans are positive that Styles spit on Pine, others are unsure. According to a user’s tweet, Harry is believed to have intentionally spat on Pine in front of a large crowd. And that Pine just grinned without even wiping anything off? He found it hard to believe.
Another supporter outlined what he believes may have transpired. He claimed that Chris Pine might have lost consciousness after the applause and questioned where his sunglasses were before realising they were on his lap and that Harry had not spit on him. Harry and Olivia, who have been dating since last year, opted not to walk the red carpet together or pose for a picture as a couple at the occasion. Harry and Olivia were sat next to Chris Pine during the premiere rather than next to one another.
