To celebrate National Cinema Day this weekend, Marvel has re-released Spider-Man: No Way Home, and fans are being treated to an additional sequence starring everyone’s favourite Hell’s Kitchen attorney, Daredevil (Charlie Cox). This is the first proof that Daredevil himself is in one of the sequences, while the re-release has long been advertised as featuring more footage.

Murdock now makes his second appearance in the movie in this sequence. In it, Agent Cleary (Arian Moayed), who also played his No Way Home character in the Disney+ series Ms. Marvel, meets with Murdock. The two argue over Jake Mysterio’s Gyllenhaal demise at the hands of Peter Parker (Tom Holland) in Spider-Man: Far from Home. Murdock calls Parker a law-abiding person and requests that Jon Favreau’s Happy Hogan calm down during the discussion.

It is obvious that there is a connection between this sequence and Murdock’s introduction in the movie. Murdock met with Parker, Happy, and May in the Parker home in the scene from the original cut to talk about the legal repercussions of Parker’s false claim. Murdock briefly demonstrated his strength as he caught a brick that was thrown through their window. It’s important to note that despite the addition of this scene in the re-release, Murdock has not yet donned the Daredevil mask. This reveal will most likely occur in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, which will premiere on Disney+ soon.

One of several major revelations in No Way Home was Daredevil’s appearance, since viewers were concerned whether the Marvel Cinematic Universe would continue to feature the superheroes first seen on Netflix. Though Kevin Feige did announce that Daredevil would get his own eighteen-episode series on Disney+ dubbed Daredevil: Born Again, there is still uncertainty as to whether the MCU will bring the characters back.

With a worldwide total of $1.9 billion and around $808 million in North America, Spider-Man: No Way Home was the greatest movie of 2021. Several prior Spider-Man antagonists, including the Green Goblin played by Willem Dafoe, Electro played by Jamie Foxx, and Doctor Octopus played by Alfred Molina, made appearances in the sequel. The biggest surprises of the movie probably came from the appearances of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, both former Spider-Men.
