In 2023, a movie starring Blade, the well-known vampire hunter from Marvel, will be released. This famous reboot movie will fully integrate the character into the MCU. In addition, Academy Award winner Mahershala Ali will play him. Although Blade won’t enter cinemas until late next year, the cast and crew have already been put together, with Delroy Lindo and Aaron Pierre playing minor roles and Bassam Tariq handling the directing.

While waiting impatiently for Blade to make his complete appearance, fans may be aware that the start date for the principal filming of the movie has been postponed several times. However, a verified green light for manufacturing appears to be closer by the day. The start of production for Marvel Studios’ Blade is set for October 5, 2022, according to a brand-new listing on KFTV.com (via The Cosmic Circus). The start of Blade’s production was originally reported at the San Diego Comic-Con this year, although no precise day of the month was specified.

The filming of the Marvel movie has already been postponed several times, as was already revealed. Things were originally expected to start in September 2021, then July 2022, and then, during SDCC, the aforementioned month of October was revealed. Numerous things have contributed to these setbacks, but the epidemic has once again complicated issues and become one of them. It’s incredible to think that at Comic-Con 2019, Mahershala Ali was first introduced as Blade. There was no director, no script, and no supporting actors at that moment. In reality, it appears the film was approved because Mahershala and Kevin Feige had a desire to collaborate.

But everything turns out well for the supporters. Marvel’s darker, more horror-influenced characters and tales have mainly been avoided by the MCU. However, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has a few definite uncomfortable themes, so maybe one might view that movie as a starting point for further horror-related stuff. Werewolf by Night, which won’t be formally announced until October, will likewise fill the void in this aspect.

Despite widespread rumors, Blade won’t be given an R rating. Given the character’s frequently violent and frightful demeanor, some people may find this to be disappointing. But the MCU has demonstrated the ability to still include some rather intense violence in their productions (RIP Black Bolt.)

When it eventually opens in theatres on November 3, 2023, Marvel Studios’ Blade will hopefully be a joyful, engaging cinematic experience.
