The well-known platinum recording singer Megan Thee Stallion is rumored to have filmed an action scene for She-Hulk earlier this year. Although Harry Styles made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Starfox, Megan Thee Stallion will probably play herself in the program. Who is to say, though, that the rapper won’t also play a minor Marvel character?
Although the singer’s participation in the Marvel series has now been fully confirmed, it is still unknown exactly what her involvement will entail. Megan Thee Stallion’s casting in Marvel’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was announced in an interview with The Cut. The rapper mentioned admiring musicians that switched to acting, such as Queen Latifah and Ice Cube, saying, “When I look at them, it pushed me to take it farther than just music.” She has stated that she “doesn’t feel like I’m simply going to be an actress I feel like I’m also going to be a director and I feel like I’m also going to be a producer.” Her goals even extend beyond acting.
Prior speculations said that Megan Thee Stallion would portray a “fictionalized version” of herself in “several episodes,” in addition to needing a stunt double for an action sequence. It will be intriguing to find out who this “fictionalized” rapper will be. If a Skrull had replaced her, it would be funny, which is why the rumor is “fictionalized.” It may also be because The Blip’s impact on the rapper’s career path caused an alternate timeline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
For instance, a popular fan theory is that rapper Lil Nas X avoided The Snap because of Shang-Chi and Katie singing his song “Old Town Road” at karaoke, which made its debut in 2019 at The Blip. It would be amusing if the significant incident marginally altered Megan Thee Stallion’s career within the MCU.
