Multiple local reports state that Lindsay Lohan will soon begin filming her second Netflix production in Ireland. Here is what we know about the romantic comedy film, which has the working title “Irish Wish.” The new romantic comedy, which is scheduled to start shooting in September 2022, will take place in “modern-day Ireland.” According to Mayonews, Ireland served as the location for filming the second Netflix movie. i.e., Knock Airport, Westport, the Cliffs of Moher, Killruddery House and Gardens, Lough Tay in the Wicklow Mountains, etc.
The movie will be made by Netflix, a streaming service that requires a subscription, and the production team anticipates starting three days of filming in Westport and at Knock Airport at the end of September.
Christy Hyland, a councillor from Westport, said to The Mayo News that he was part of the delegation that met with the directors to discuss possible filming locations, and he is thrilled that they have agreed to use the town in west Mayo.
“I took the location manager for the movie around Westport when I first met him a couple of weeks ago, and he was very impressed with the tour.”
. Westport will benefit greatly from the production company’s decision to visit for three days of filming at the end of September. The movie’s publicity will positively represent Westport and highlight our community’s assets.
“The Octagan and other locations in the town will be used for filming, and Knock Airport will also be used. Many members of the crew will spend several days in Westport. It will serve as good advertising for our community and lure more tourists there, he predicted.
The movie will also be filmed at Lough Tay in the Wicklow Mountains, Killruddery House and Gardens, Bray Head, and the Cliffs of Moher in addition to Westport and Knock Airport.
The movie, which will reportedly be available on Netflix in the coming year and is set in contemporary Ireland, stars Lindsay Lohan as the title character Maddie.
