Some of the most popular shows that had been removed over the previous few months have recently received new licences and renewals on Netflix in the United States. Reign, The Originals, and Criminal Minds are all back on the service. As you may be aware, Netflix obtains a lot of its movies and television shows through licences from companies like Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery. They grant a fixed-term licence for these works, and it is up to the two parties to decide whether to extend it.
Many have decided not to renew or even licence titles to Netflix any longer in favour of stocking their own services due to the rise in streaming services, which are frequently owned by businesses that previously obtained Netflix licences. That brings us to this year, during which we’ve seen some major shows eliminated and three major shows added: Criminal Minds, Reign, and The Originals. The Originals

Sadly, Netflix only recovered its losses. That indicates that at least 3 seasons are still missing and are only available on Paramount+.

Warner Bros. Discovery, for example, has been phasing out Originals and even licenced out All American: Homecoming to Netflix rather than releasing it on its own platform.
