As part of their comeback, BLACKPINK is serving up some “Pink Venom” to the BLINKs.

Ahead of an anticipated nine-month world tour, the South Korean K-pop girl trio debuted their first single in almost two years. The girls introduced their single with its own distinctive taste while bringing their signature mix of sassiness, spunk, and mischief. Jisoo and Rose also stand out as they hit the song’s high notes and add musical aspects, but Lisa and Jennie steal the stage with their epic rap duet.

“Since this is our much-anticipated return, we wanted to be authentic. Thus, we combined the seemingly incompatible phrases “Pink” and “Venom,” which are sure to make you think of us “Jennie stated during a press conference. The song’s music video, which incorporates traditional Korean instruments, was reportedly the most costly one that the band’s management company, YG Entertainment, has ever created.

The group’s upcoming album, Born Pink, which is scheduled to be released on September 16 presold more than 1.5 million copies in a week, according to YG.
We put a lot of preparation into the new song so that our fans and audiences would appreciate it rather than focused on breaking records, but Rose acknowledged that they would be really grateful if they were able to do so.

Beginning in October and continuing across at least 26 locations through the end of June, BLACKPINK will perform for about 1.5 million fans.
Since making their debut in South Korea in 2016, Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa have become a worldwide hit. They have worked with celebrities including Lady Gaga, Cardi B, and Dua Lipa. Although the group members have recently concentrated more on individual releases, some of their songs, including ‘Kill This Love,’ have amassed over a billion YouTube views.

Along with singing the song live on stage while on tour, the girls will also do so at the American Video Music Awards, where Lisa is nominated for Best Solo Video for her song “La Lisa.”
