The charges, which include insulting his kid and injuring his ex-wife, were addressed by Pitt’s counsel.

While the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial’s fallout will continue to dominate headlines into 2022, a fresh FBI investigation has brought up the difficult history of another well-known ex-couple.

According to reports from CNN and other media outlets, actress Angelina Jolie accused her then-husband, actor Brad Pitt, of physically abusing her and their children in an FBI investigation from 2016. Following the alleged assault that took place while the family was on a private jet, Jolie quickly filed for divorce. She has subsequently attempted (in vain) to keep sole custody of the couple’s children.

There is a lot of material to sort through surrounding Pitt and Jolie’s breakup, just like there was in the Depp-Heard case.

The FBI investigation

While the latest revelation focuses on a 2016 event, Politico recently reported on a “Freedom of Information Act” lawsuit that sought to get FBI documents. Following Puck’s story that a court had denied the request, Politico speculated that Jolie and Pitt were involved based on circumstantial evidence. This theory was later validated once the documents were made public.

On a private flight from France to Los Angeles, California in September 2016, Pitt, Jolie, and their six children are claimed to have been there.

Pitt allegedly drank heavily throughout the flight’s 10-plus hours, finally spilling beer on Jolie’s head. She claims that the private plane had damages from red wine stains worth of money.

Although it’s unknown who of the six kids was involved, some reports claim that it was Pitt’s eldest son Maddox, the papers also describe an unpleasant confrontation between Pitt and one of the kids onboard.

Making this information public is detrimental to the kids and the entire family. This text is not based on fact. She stated that it went like this. No charges were filed despite an investigation being conducted. These kinds of things are frequently withheld from public dissemination.

According to certain publications, including Marca, the newly publicised claims are an intentional attack on Pitt, who recently released the movie Bullet Train. Despite the allegations, the FBI finally exonerated him, and the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services came to the conclusion that he had not physically abused his children.
