A number of additional skins for various fighters have recently been discovered online, continuing Multiverse’s reputation as a leaky game. This time, our most recent preview has cosmetics for a variety of characters, including LeBron James, Wonder Woman, Bugs Bunny, and more. We’ve previously seen some of the skins that are allegedly going to be published for characters like Rick Sanchez. Some of the fighter skins that have been leaked are similar to the one for Rick in that they act as a tribute to particular episodes, while others are allusions to DC and Space Jam for the fighters connected to those franchises.

LeBron James, the athlete who entered the game thanks to Space Jam: A New Legacy, supposedly had a skin prepared, according to one of the leaks discovered most recently. It appears that the skin, dubbed “Sheriff LeBron,” was accidentally made public during a Twitch show devoted to MultiVersus before being recorded by Twitter user multiverses. As in the Space Jam movie, LeBron is shown costumed as the DC superhero and Robin, the sidekick of Batman.

In addition, a number of skins provided by another Twitter user named AisulMV showcased several appearances for Jake from Adventure Time as well as a skin for Wonder Woman in which she was decked out entirely in gold. Taz and Bugs Bunny may be seen dressed in their Toon Squad garb, while Arya Stark was also depicted with a distinct skin tone. Due to a copyright violation, all of those photographs of the skins were removed from Twitter; however, for those who still wish to view them, they have since been posted in other places, such as the game’s subreddit.

You’ll have plenty of time to check out these new fighters and see which ones click before investing in any of these skins if you’re just getting started with MultiVersus because the cosmetics haven’t even been verified at this point. MultiVersus only recently began its open beta phase. Additionally, MultiVersus creator Player First Games recently affirmed that progress for characters who haven’t yet been unlocked won’t be reset after they’re taken out of the free rotation, allowing you to experiment with as many different fighters as you like without having to worry about losing it on characters who you don’t yet technically own.
