What’s the purpose of the wedding season?
Wedding Season focuses on the complex romance between Stefan and Katie.
On the same night Stefan proposed to his fiancée and was rejected in front of all the wedding guests, the two initially connected at another wedding and hit it off practically right away.
Despite being engaged to Hugo Delaney, a member of one of the wealthiest (and most corrupt) families in the United Kingdom, Katie chooses to sleep with Stefan.
For the following three months, Stefan and Katie keep running into each other at the weddings of other people. Stefan even tries to dissuade Katie from being married to Hugo, much to his detriment.
However, when the Delaney family is discovered poisoned and dead during Katie’s wedding celebration, perhaps Stefan will finally find his happy ending.
The genre-defying series follows Katie and Stefan, who fall in love during a wedding and have an affair despite Katie already having a fiancé. This is according to the official synopsis provided by Disney+. At Katie’s wedding two months later, her new husband and his entire family are killed. The cops believe Stefan is to blame. Stefan believes Katie is to blame. And nobody is quite certain of the truth…
The show is an action-packed journey through the US and the UK as Katie and Stefan flee while attempting to establish their innocence.

Gavin Drea and Rosa Salazar play Stefan and Katie in the TV show Wedding Season.
For her roles as Alma Winograd-Diaz in Undone, Lucy in Bird Box, Brenda in the Maze Runner series of movies, and Lynn in the Divergent trilogy, Salazar is highly recognised.
