Together, Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi and Kenya Barris bring you Entergalactic, a brand-new animated tale about a young artist named Jabari. We’re keeping tabs on all the information you need to know about the intriguing new animated series, which will be available on Netflix in September 2022. Fletcher Moules, whose credits include Clash of Clans: Revenge and others, directed the animated series. Together with Ian Edelman and Kenya Barris, Cudi devised the idea. What’s Entergalactic’s storyline?
The plot of Entergalactic revolves around a young artist named Jabari who is attempting to balance love and career. Jabari gets a step closer to the former when he moves into his dream apartment and meets his new neighbour, photography it-girl Meadow – portrayed by Jessica Williams. Entergalactic is an explosion of art, music, and fashion that takes place in the one city that can manage all three: New York.

Scott Mescudi, “Kid Cudi,” as Jabari: Jabari is an effortlessly cool charismatic, creative genius with a dash of goofy. Jabari is one of those kids you can’t help but love, dressed head-to-toe in the holiest of streetwear grails. He is about to discover the final piece of adulthood: true love, at a first-time crossroads of work success and the right apartment.
Meadow is played by Jessica Williams (Love Life, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 3). Meadow, Jabari’s new neighbour and aspiring photographer, is not only the coolest female at the party, but also the most genuine.
Jimmy is played by Timothée Chalamet (Dune, Call Me by Your Name): Jimmy is Jabari’s best buddy and… pot dealer, albeit with the new drug restrictions, he’s shifted his focus to crypto and new technologies. Jimmy is an oxymoronic, laid-back conspiracy theorist who is never without a blunt or a book.
Ty Dolla $ign $ign plays Ky, Jabari’s irreverent and occasionally inappropriate road dog. Ky is always there for Jabari, even if his help can often come in unusual packages.
Carmen, Jabari’s recent ex-girlfriend, is played by Laura Harrier (Hollywood, BlacKkKlansman). Carmen is the girl you’re supposed to marry. She’s stylish and confident.
Vanessa Hudgens (Tick, Tick…Boom!) plays Karina, Meadow’s best friend who is dependable, grounded, and delightfully pregnant.
Reed, a well-dressed shark with a heart and art dealer representing Meadow’s photography, is played by Christopher Abbott (Kraven the Hunter, On the Count of Three). Reed’s chin is sharp enough to cut glass but not strong enough to take a blow.
070 Shake as Nadia, Meadow’s art scene partner. Nadia is a boisterous sculptor from New York City whose speech can only be drowned out by the brashness of her own art.
Jordan is played by Jaden Smith (After Earth): Jordan’s prowess as an adolescent BMX superstar gives him a pass to kick it with Jabari and Jimmy. Jordan sees the dating scene in New York City differently from Jabari.
Mr. Rager, Jabari’s superhero creation, is played by Keith David (From Scratch, 21 Bridges).
Meadow and Karina’s hard-nosed boxing instructor at Rumble NYC is Teyana Taylor (Coming 2 America, The Trap).
Len is played by Arturo Castro (Yes Day, Broad City): Len, a rising professional, is Jabrari’s coworker at Vision Comics. He is dressed in hard-bottom shoes and a newsboy cap. He’s both extremely intelligent and quite obnoxious.
Downtown Pat is played by Macaulay Culkin (American Horror Story, The Righteous Gemstones). Pat, despite his tough attitude, has a loving heart and sensible words to share.
