How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast) Season 4 is in the works at Netflix

How to Sell Drugs Online

The fourth season of the German series How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast) is now in development at Netflix.
One of the most watched programmes in the area, it even managed to spend two weeks in the top ten hourly shows on Netflix worldwide. From July 25 to August 8 of 2021, 25.05 million hours of the show were streamed globally on Netflix. As previously reported, Buba, which follows the “strange” character years before he meets the adolescents in the mothership series, recently debuted on Netflix. Maximilian Schmidt appeared in a documentary on the story that was released in 2021.

The news was released on August 12 by DWDL.de, who also announced the renewal. It was said during a lengthy interview that was conducted after Buba was made available on Netflix. When asked about their shelved Netflix project, Pauline, Matthias Murmann and Philipp Käßbohrer said they were working on season 4 of How to Sell Drugs Online and that they have “two fresh concepts for Netflix” (Fast). The two then discussed their reasons for continuing the programme and their initial expectations (this portion has been translated from German into English):

But the tale of “How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast)” never truly let go of us, according to Philipp Käßbohrer. The “Shiny Flakes” documentary came first, and the recently released film “Buba” also returns to this universe. When we were working on it after the most recent season [season 3], we realised: No, that wasn’t it yet. We’re still working on a fourth season because of this.
Stephen Murmann The characters are no longer in their school years. What are they doing with their lives? presents a fascinating challenge in terms of narrative. Never focusing on drugs, “How to Sell Drugs” was always a coming-of-age tale. Furthermore, as everyone is aware, actual maturation starts after graduation.

Netflix has announced a number of new episodes and movies for 2022 as part of its ongoing investment in German programming. The Empress (coming to Netflix in September 2022), Kleo (coming to Netflix in August 2022), 1899 from the Dark creators (coming to Netflix in November), and the return of Barbarians later this year are some of their greatest expenditures with German creators. Skylines, Dogs of Berlin, Tribes of Europa, and Kitz are just a few of the German television programmes that have not yet progressed past season 1. The fate of the other two is still uncertain, while the first two were scrapped.
