Netflix has renewed Love, Death, and Robots for a fourth season

Love Death and Robots

Love, Death and Robots, an animated anthology series with an adult slant, has been renewed by Netflix for a fourth season. The streamer revealed the renewal on Instagram on Friday. The 12-time Emmy-winning series, which was created by Tim Miller and is made by Blur Studio, consists of stand-alone episodes with various narratives and animation created by various animation studios across the world. Various genres, including comedy, horror, science fiction, and fantasy, are explored in each episode.

Additionally, the animated anthology series recently received two nominations for the 2022 Emmys. Both “Outstanding Sound Editing for a Comedy or Drama Series (Half-Hour) and Animation” and “Outstanding Short Form Animated Program” were nominated for the programme.
On May 20, 2022, the third instalment made its Netflix debut and received overwhelmingly positive reviews from both critics and viewers. Despite having a shorter runtime than typical shows, the animated series spent two weeks in the top 10 global shows on Netflix. A total of 29.81 million hours of the show were seen globally between May 15 and May 29, 2022.

The fourth volume of Love, Death and Robots will consist of nine episodes. Jennifer Yuh Nelson, who succeeded David Fincher as “showrunner” after volume 1, is still active in volume 4. She has the title of Supervising Director. The executive producers for the fourth volume will remain Tim Miller, David Fincher, Jennifer Miller, and Joshua Donen.
As a teaser for the fourth volume, Netflix also provided the following brief synopsis: “Terror, imagination, and beauty combine in nine new episodes that range from exposing an ancient evil to staging a comedic apocalypse, telling startling short stories of fantasy, horror, and science-fiction with trademark wit and visual invention.”

Tim Miller is also actively involved with The Goon, another future Netflix production. Since the project’s inception as a Kickstarter effort more than ten years ago, he has been quietly working on it.
Additionally, Fincher is intimately involved with upcoming Netflix projects. The Killer, which is scheduled to premiere on Netflix in 2023, was recently completed by the filmmaker. In addition, he is anticipated to act as executive producer on Netflix’s Chinatown, and of course, speculations regarding the third season of Mindhunter are still circulating.
Along with other important information about the new forthcoming season, Netflix confirmed the fourth season’s renewal.
