The newest actor to join the cast of the upcoming Netflix limited series A Man in Full is Lucy Liu. Alongside previously revealed co-stars Diane Lane and Jeff Daniels, as well as William Jackson Harper, Aml Ameen, Tom Pelphrey, Sarah Jones, Jon Michael Hill, and Chanté Adams, Liu will play a major role in the television series. The same-named Tom Wolfe book served as the inspiration for the TV show.

In the role of Charlie Croker, the two-time Emmy winner Jeff Daniels (The Newsroom) is joined by Liu. No matter how chaotic things become, Croker won’t allow his empire to crumble easily, according to the series’ synopsis. This indicates that he will be obnoxious, unpleasant, and uncontrollable to everyone who wants to profit from his downfall. A successful clean beauty company founder named Joyce Newman is portrayed by Liu as having a moral crisis, which is bad for business and is certain to enrage her coworkers.

A Man in Full is based on Tom Wolfe’s best-selling 1998 novel of the same name. David E. Kelley, an 11-time Emmy winner who serves as showrunner, executive producer, and writer of the episodes, adapts the story for television. Before Big Little Lies and Big Sky, Kelley turned other books into immensely popular television series. She also made acclaimed shows like Boston Legal and Doogie Howser.

The series will follow a real estate magnate who experiences abrupt bankruptcy and falls from prominence, as well as the others who try to profit from his collapse. A Man in Full has yet to receive any new information from Netflix, such as additional cast members, directors, or an anticipated release date.
