Tatiana Maslany, a star and executive producer of AMC’s Invitation to a Bonfire, also starred in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The unpleasant real-life relationship between Russian novelist Vladimir Nabokov and Vera Nabokov is explored in the psychological thriller series, which is based on Adrienne Celt’s book of the same name.

Invitation to a Bonfire, which is set in the 1930s at an all-girls boarding school in New Jersey, centres on a love triangle involving a young author (Pilou Asbaek), his wife, who also serves as his editor (Maslany), and a young Russian immigrant who works as the boarding school’s groundskeeper, Zoya (Freya Mavor). By portraying the wife of the fictional Nabokov, Maslany will be at the centre of the next television series.

Maslany rejoins AMC after starring in the much-loved drama Orphan Black in Invitation to a Bonfire. Maslany’s performance in Orphan Black earned her the Outstanding Actress Emmy Award, a distinction that aided in her ascent to stardom in Hollywood. Recently, Maslany co-starred in HBO’s Perry Mason with Matthew Rhys, for which she was nominated for a 2021 Hollywood Critics Association Television Award for Best Supporting Actress. Along with playing Bruce Banner’s (Mark Ruffalo) cousin in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tatiana Maslany also serves as executive producer of the podcast Power Trip.

Creator, showrunner, and executive producer Rachel Caris Love sends you an invitation to a bonfire. Ngozi Anyanwu is also a cast member of the show. Invitation to a Bonfire has yet to be released. Maslany will be enraged the next time we see her in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, which will debut on Disney+ on Thursday, August 18.
