As the Joker, Joaquin Phoenix will return to the franchise after winning the Best Actor Oscar for his stunning performance in the 2019 instalment. Cheek to Cheek by Louis Armstrong, which Gaga has previously performed with jazz great Tony Bennet, serves as the soundtrack for the movie’s teaser. According to sources, the future movie will be a musical, therefore Gaga’s choice for the part seems ideal.
