After an account pretending to be the Nicki Minaj former assistant started spilling the beans and circulating rumours about the rapper, Nicki Minaj became the top trending topic on Twitter on Monday evening. On Instagram, a person posting as an ex-assistant of Nicki Minaj made allegations about the musician. They uploaded 50 Instagram posts under the alias Kate Miller in an effort to discredit Minaj. According to rumours, Nicki fired her assistant, and this Instagram barrage was a tactic to avenge the artist.

Nicki responded to allegations made about her by the Instagram user who identified herself as the rapper’s “ex-assistant” by going live on the platform. She referred to the assertions as “dumb,” and claimed that anyone who came to believe them was also dumb.

“Nicki fired her assistant and she’s telling it all,” was the description on the Instagram stories that contained a series of allegations about Nicki. The first story’s wording stated, “I am Onika’s ex-assistant who she fired who for absolutely no proof of fraud with her bank account. I’m exposing all files I have from working for her. Along with the voice messages she sent me regarding many different people not just Cardi B.” The user’s stories were swiftly screenshot by fans, who then shared them on Twitter.

Other story read, “I have your tax refunds from 2021. When are we gonna tell barz you’ve owed the IRS 173 million since 2016? Renting homes is always the go-to for the Minaj residence”. Additionally, according to the since-deleted report, Nicki’s spouse would criticise her behind her back. The account even claimed that Nicki Minaj owes $173 million in unpaid taxes and that she paid $75,000 for her new single, “Freaky Girl,” to chart.

The owner of the account answered queries about her connections to other singers like Ariana Grande, Megan Thee Stallion, and Doja Cat in one of the 50 stories that were uploaded to the account. Before responding to the claims made by the user on Instagram live, Nicki even deactivated the account. She stopped the rumour and expressed her shock and said that she was “mind blown that people are this f*cking dumb.”

She added, “That people are really believing that I got somebody that work for me and now they spilling tea. Chile.” Minaj continued, “But, it’s not even that. It’s the tea sound so f*cking dumb, and for a person to believe it, you would have to be dumb. It’s clearly a kid.” The profile image on the account really belongs to a content director at a PR agency, not an assistant on Minaj’s, as discovered by admirers who conducted some research.
