Redanian Intelligence, the Witcher news website, has announced that Netflix’s The Witcher has restarted production after a suspension earlier this week. Henry Cavill, the series’ most ambitious scene, was in the middle of filming the Thanedd ball when production on Season 3 abruptly stopped because he tested positive for COVID. The production “paused owing to Covid,” the streamer told The Hollywood Reporter, “and we will be up and running as soon as it is safe to do so.”

It seems like the time has come because several cast members announced their return to the sets via Instagram stories. It does, however, prove that the programme is back on course. Cassie Clare, Harvey Quinn, and actress Mecia Simson all posted a variety of images to social media, some of which contained jokes about the heat or made fun of the Netflix logo on a lavatory.

In the Thanedd ball and subsequent coup plot, Clare will play Phillipa, Simon will play Francesca, and Quinn will play an unnamed wizard. Regarding Geralt of Rivia’s personal return to combat, however, nothing has been made public. There are, however, a number of ball-related exercises that may be done without him.

As Ciri, Geralt, and Yennefer finally unite, Season 2 leaves us on a positive note. The moment that changed everything, though, was when it was revealed that Duny, a.k.a. Emhyr Var Emreis, the ruler of Nilfgaard, was the White Flame. Season 3 will continue the events that took place in Andrzej Sapkowski’s fourth Witcher novel Time of Contempt, which resulted in the Brotherhood of Sorcerers being dissolved. As they discover more about Geralt’s abilities, the novel explores their relationship.

As many factions are now looking for Ciri, Geralt is also compelled to modify his impartial stance on the politics of the Continent. Netflix offers streaming of The Witcher seasons 1 and 2. No release date has been set because the pandemic frequently interfered with Season 3’s production.
