Season 3 of Bridgerton on Netflix: What We Know So Far

bridgerton season 3

Since debuting on Netflix on Christmas Day of 2020, the adaptation of Julia Quinn’s bestselling books has only gotten better and better, drawing one of the biggest viewership for a Netflix Original. Only a few months have passed since the last time we saw Bridgerton, but it has already been revealed that season 3 of the show is now in development. Here is what we currently know about Netflix’s third season of Bridgerton. With around 950 million hours seen in 2022, Bridgerton is only second in popularity to shows like Stranger Things. The first 28 days after the second season’s release brought in 656 million hours, with repeat viewers and new viewers binge-watching the show to account for the remaining hours.

The Bridgerton franchise has successfully established itself on Netflix thanks to being extended for a third and fourth season as well as a spin-off for the Queen Charlotte character. The executive producer of Bridgerton, Shonda Rhimes, originally signed a contract with Netflix in 2018. Even though it took two and a half years for her production’s first Netflix series, Shondaland, to premiere, the show’s resounding success more than made up for the delay. Fans should be thrilled to see more of the Bridgerton universe and intriguing new stories in the near future because there are many more projects in the works.

Three more cast members were also unveiled along with the news that filming had started. Sam Phillips, Daniel Francis, and James Phoon have joined the cast of Bridgerton.
Harry Dankworth, played by James Phoon, is a man who lacks wit and intelligence but more than makes up for it with incredibly excellent looks. Sam Phillips plays the part of Gentleman Debling, an amiable lord with peculiar interests who has the resources, wealth, and status to indulge them.
Daniel Francis plays Marcus Anderson, a gregarious character who can brighten any space he enters. To the chagrin of his classmates, Marcus Anderson frequently attracts the attention of many women.

When will Netflix release Bridgerton season 3?

In a YouTube video published by Netflix, it has been made known that production has started as a result of the Bridgerton cast. By December 2022, all of the filming that is planned for this year is projected to be done.

Netflix won’t be getting a third season of Bridgerton in 2022. In 2023, the show will return to Netflix at some point, probably in the summer or fall. We might have to wait until the summer because filming won’t be finished until the end of the year, following which production will shift into post-production, where all the SFX and VFX magic happens.
