Kim Jin Woo, known for his work on Good Doctor, Suits, and the second season of Love Alarm, will helm A Model Family, a new South Korean Netflix Original crime-thriller.
What is the story of A Model Family about?
An average family, who are down on their luck and on the verge of financial collapse, is plagued by divorce and bankruptcy. But when one of them discovers a car packed with cash, it leads to the family running into a formidable drug cartel. The family must band together in order to flee the perils posed by the drug gang.
Who are the A Model Family cast members?
Choi Kang Jun is played by Kim Sung Oh, who has previously appeared on Netflix in the Korean drama A Korean Odyssey. As a member of the cast of the Korean adaptation of Money Heist, Sung Oh will make an appearance on Netflix at some point in 2022. Dong Ha is played by Jung Woo, who most recently appeared in the Mad for Each Other Netflix Original.
Eun Joo, Gwang Cheol, and Joo Hyeon will be portrayed by Yoon Jin Seo, Park Hee Soon, and Park Ji Hyun, respectively.
Yoon Jin Seo hasn’t appeared in a drama in six years, but Park Hee Soon recently appeared in the wildly popular Netflix series My Name. The Netflix Original Shows Mr. Sunshine, The King: Eternal Monarch, Stranger 2, and Hospital Playlist 2 are just a few that feature Park Ji Yun.
