After Ever Happy is an upcoming romantic drama film helmed by Fear Of Rain director Castille Landon. Based on the 2015 novel of the same name by Anna Todd, the movie is the fourth and final installment in the After film franchise and sequel to After We Fell. The film stars Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes-Tiffin, reprising their roles as Tessa Young and Hardin Scott, respectively.

A new trailer for the movie is here, and it’s blowing out our expectations. Voltage Pictures has unveiled a new trailer for the film’s concluding chapter, outlining the challenges that lie ahead. The trailer gives us a sneak-peak on how the story of lovebirds, Tessa Young and Hardin Scott will mould further in the movie. From the trailer, it seems that things aren’t all rainbows and sunshine for the couple. if you thought the tortured, romantic, over-the-top adventures and intrigues between Hardin, a reformed bad boy, and his true love Tessa were over, you’d be wrong. If you believed that they were done with their torturous, sappy, extravagant adventures and conflicts, you would be mistaken.

Throughout the three films, the couple’s relationship were sort of dramatic, they have already been through so much troubles all together. The last and final film also contains some tensed elements along with some extraordinary romance. However, there are a number of instances that might make you think Tessa and Hardin won’t have a happy ending. The trailer suggests that the two are still travelling a difficult path together, with Hardin specifically dealing with some sort of legal trouble that would ultimately cause the two to part ways forever.

The main focus of the trailer is on Hardin and Tessa as they deal with the fallout from learning that Christian is actually Hardin’s father. The third film left us all in a major cliffhanger when Hardin got to know that Christian is his real father. Consequently, Hardin is still processing that profound realisation, and this seems to have once again affects their relationship. Tessa is not a fan of the fact that Hardin is penning a book about their relationship with the aptly descriptive title After. The two part ways to find themselves as a result.

After Ever Happy will release on August 26 in Canada, Norway, South Africa, Romania, Hungary, and Bulgaria. On September 7, the movie will make its debut in Australia and New Zealand. Like the previous movie, it will also be available on Prime Video in the UK and France. Apart from Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes-Tiffin, the cast of the movie invludes Louise Lombard, Kiana Madeira, Chance Perdomo, Rob Estes, and Carter Jenkins.
