The romantic comedy Bros, directed by Nicholas Stoller, will have its world premiere at the 47th Toronto International Film Festival this year. Billy Eichner’s comedic genius and Stoller’s co-wrote the comedy film Bros. The movie also features Eichner as a star, making him the first openly gay person to both write and star in a major studio production. This rom-com deserves praise for its casting decisions as well because it is the first major motion picture to have a completely LGBTQ+ cast, marking a significant milestone.

A swoony and poignant comedy called Bros explores how difficult it might be to find someone to spend the rest of your life with. The movie’s cheery humour, romance premise, and all-star cast are highlighted in the first trailer, which also addresses how challenging it is to forge a real relationship when commitment issues get in the way.

In the centre of the film Bros, Eichner’s Bobby Leiber falls in love with Luke Macfarlane’s Aaron. We learn a little bit more about these people in the trailer, such as the fact that Bobby hosts a podcast where he talks about “anything [he] feels like talking about” and Aaron is “quite hot.” Despite the fact that there are flames between them, love is never simple.

Alongside Eichner and Macfarlane, Amanda Bearse, Guy Branum, Guillermo Dáz, Dot-Marie Jones, Miss Lawrence, Eve Lindley, TS Madison, Jim Rash, and Monica Raymund also appear in the film. Stoller, Judd Apatow, and Josh Church served as the movie’s producers, and Eichner and Karl Franke were its executive producers.

The theatrical release of Bros is scheduled for September 30. However, the comedy from Stoller and Eichner will first be shown at the Toronto International Film Festival, which runs from September 8 to September 18. The cutoff date for purchasing festival ticket packages is August 14.
