Beanie Feldstein declared this evening that she’ll withdraw the featuring job of Broadway’s Funny Girl significantly sooner than recently reported: Her last exhibition in the show will be July 31.
“Playing Fanny Brice on Broadway has been a deep rooted dream of mine,” Feldstein posted on Instagram this evening, “and doing as such throughout the previous few months has been honor. When the steer the show in very hard decision to step away sooner than expected. I will always remember this experience need to thank everyone who came to the August Wilson for the love and support you have shown me and and group. Individuals I have had rejuvenating Funny Girl with on and off the stage, are strikingly capable and I really want to believe that you keep on going along with them on Henry Street after I leave on July 31st.”
Feldstein didn’t make sense of in what ways the creation was taken “somewhere new.”
