Goodbye Earth, an exciting new dystopian k-drama series, is set to premiere on Netflix sometime in 2023. We fully expect Goodbye Earth, based on the novel by Ktar Isaka, to be a huge hit with subscribers. For the time being, we’re keeping track of everything you need to know about the first season of Goodbye Earth on Netflix.
Goodbye Earth is a South Korean Netflix Original dystopian drama directed by Kim Jin-Min and screenwriter Jung Sung Joo. Jung Sung Joo hasn’t authored a script since 2015, when she wrote the drama Heard It Through the Grapevine. She also wrote Secret Love Affair, Roses and Bean Sprout, and A Wife’s Credentials.

What is the storyline of Goodbye Earth?

An investigation of despair and hope in people who are aware that an asteroid is speeding towards Earth, heralding the end of the planet.

Who are the Goodbye Earth cast members?

Some Netflix subscribers will recognise Ahn Eun Jin as Chu Min Ha, a supporting character in Hospital Playlist, and as the wife of Moo Young, the Crown Prince’s personal guard, in both seasons of Kingdom.
Yoo Ah In made his first drama debut in four years as Jung Jin Soo in Hellbound. The actor’s most recent production will also be on Netflix, as he plays Ha Yoon Sang in Goodbye Earth.

Jeon Sung Woo previously appeared in the Korean translation of Designated Survivor, but his portrayal of Priest Damiano will be his first on Netflix in nearly four years.
Kim Yoon Hye has also only appeared in one Netflix Original, having previously played Seo Mi Ro in the wildly hit Vincenzo.

When will Netflix release Goodbye Earth?

Although no official release date has been announced, Han Cinema has the drama scheduled for 2023.
We now know that Goodbye Earth will have a total of 12 episodes. The duration of each episode has yet to be determined.
