Why the delay in renewing? We don’t know why the renewal took so long, but we can go at earlier renewals that took some time for an explanation. It’s almost probably going to come down to salary talks with massive ensemble casts like Outer Banks. We saw huge compensation negotiations for shows like 13 Reasons Why, Never Have I Ever, and On My Block after season 2 of various shows.
Outer Banks Season 3 on Netflix: What to Expect
The fight between the Camerons and the Pogues is certain to continue, with Pope eager to reclaim the now-stolen golden cross. While fleeing the enormous ship, Pope declares, “It’s not over,” as they seek safety on a distant abandoned island. They decide to stay on the island, but they won’t be there long, especially since their family has reported them missing.
The Pope will very certainly continue to investigate his family’s relationship to the Santo Domingo Cross.
Ward Cameron famously faked his death in season 2 and is now attempting to stay under the radar. Ward is likely to continue to play a crucial role in the battle moving forward after a few run-ins near the end of the second season, including John B sparing his life, but will he be caught?
The biggest mystery heading into Season 3 is how and why Big John has returned. He seemed to imply that he knows where Denmark’s Cross is but was diagnosed as “half-dead.” What impact will he have in the future? We’ll have to see what happens.
When will Outer Banks season 3 be available on Netflix?
